    Hello Hannah,
Im a very big fan of yours.
I would really love to have your work on my body,
However I don’t see myself making it to LA any time soon. I live in Barrington a sub. of Chicago. I also saw that one person you admired was a co-worker by the name of Tim Biedron. What is the name of his shop? How would I go about getting in touch with him. Thanks so much and keep creating.

Undoubtedly, Hannah’s brother – Guy Aitchison has considerable status in the modern tattoo culture/industry. He is a successful tattoo artist who also paints, attends conventions, holds seminars and writes tattoo manuals. There are several online as well as print (off line) articles about his life/career. Kim Saigh and Hannah worked with Guy Aitchison before tattooing at “L.A. Ink”. His wife – Michele Wortman, a tattoo artist, is also a painter and a photographer. The couple’s artwork/contact info is posted online at their website – Hyperspace Studios.
Last week, it was interesting to see Hannah’s ‘quality time’ with her younger brother e.g. hanging out and working at “L.A. Ink” (episode 2.25). Customer Sue (tattoo artist) received some ‘Aitchison Ink’, when the brother sister team collaborated on a tattoo (back piece) of a ‘mermaid in a coral reef interacting with a glowing tattoo machine’. Their tattooing styles are similar e.g. depiction of bold colours, light, etc.. Another customer – Sandra (tattoo artist) came to the shop not only to be tattooed but also to learn some trade secrets from Guy Aitchison – her favorite artist. He also explained what he is really known for i.e. his abstract biomechanical tattoos which illustrate dimension, texture, ‘fancy lighting effects’, etc.. Aaron Cain is also known for his biomechanical style.
In November 2007, Guy Aitchison and Aaron Cain were featured on “Tattoo Wars” (episode 1.4). Each artist inked a sleeve (biomechanical) on one arm of the same person at the same time. Aaron Cain won the competition that was completed in five sessions and that occurred at the Hell City Tattoo Festival in Phoenix. By the way, Guy Aitchison described his left arm sleeve tattoo as one of his favorite tattoos since it was completed with his design direction and with the collaboration of Aaron Cain and Grime. (InkedBlog 6/20/2005) To achieve his ‘body art collection’, Guy Aitchison utilizes laser surgery (tattoo removal) as well as the art of collaboration.

    i love hannah!
recently, while i was watching tv, i was watching L.A ink season 3 and hannah tattooed 3 birds on this girl’s back. they were coming out of a cage and got bigger as they went, the first 2 almost seemed ghost like and the 3rd was in full colour and detail. if anyone knows where i could find a picture of this, please email me! perriwinkle-@hotmail.com :)
