Catch the season finale of Miami Ink last night? Man that seemed like a fast season didn’t it? At any rate, TLC has one
bullett left in it’s 2007 Ink gun it appears as next Tuesday, they will air the “Battle Of The Inks”. They are calling it the “Ultimate Showdown” of their 3 Ink programs as London Ink, L.A. Ink and Miami Ink air consecutively on December 18th. Forgive me if I am not enthused, I cannot see the draw in this. These programs all have their qualities, but lets be honest, watching three in a row is kinda overkill, even for me, and I consider myself a fan of all three shows.
Anyways, viewers will be given the opportunity to support their favorite show/shop by casting their votes through TLC’s official website, with the winner being announced the following day at 10am on Battle of the Ink’s website. I’m calling it now, Miami Ink wins in a landslide. I bet they get close to 70% of the vote. I guess we shall see. Tune in next Tuesday for London Ink at 8pm, L.A. Ink at 9 and Miami Ink coming in at 10pm eastern time.

I am a big fan of all three shows but if i had to choose one it would be MIAMI INK the live style of the guys and their clients are alot more exciting than the other shows. This November i spent 2 weeks in south beach and i had the oppurtunity to meet and take pictures with the guys from MIAMI INK they were are really cool,i also managed to get a tattoo done at the shop.
P.S. VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE.
I plan to vote tomorrow night; Miami Ink is unquestionably the best tattoo show/shop currently at TLC. But, I will not be devastated if my favorite shop gets the least number of votes. With regard to the three Ink shows, I think that London is still a very rigid society and that the tattooers at London Ink are the most sincere/realistic. The tattooers at Miami Ink are the most glamorous/professional/stylish; Undoubtedly, they are a nice looking crew; And most of my favorite artists are at Miami Ink. The tattooers at L.A. Ink seem to be the ‘friendliest’ and so far they have created a few of the most fantastical tattoos I have ever seen. The shop is very eclectic (e.g. stripper pole, photo booth, skate board ramp, etc.). And, Kat is truly working her 15mins of fame. A possible title for Kat’s book – “Tattooing with Kat Von D; High Voltage”.
I noticed that there was not a lot of warning or explanation by TLC for the end of “Tattoo Wars”. So, I am not sure why TLC is doing “Battle of the Inks”; Except, maybe, to create a link between the Website(s) and the tattoo reality show broadcast(s). Anyways. It would have been really interesting to have seen British commercials during the London Ink broadcasts at TLC. But, I guess this would have been impossible and/or not financially feasible. Since a lot of the episodes are already available online/Internet, I’m not sure why TLC decided to broadcast London Ink. And, I was very surprised that the season finale for Miami Ink happened so soon. (Cliffhanger of Darren’s and Garver’s hiatuses); There weren’t a lot of episodes for the season; I think L.A. Ink had more. (Cliffhanger of Hannah’s hiatus). I guess that explains TLC’s broadcast of London Ink.
Last week, I watched “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and saw the American Chopper Father &Son duo. Coincidently, I remembered “Miami Ink American Chopper”, Season 3, Episode 53. Anyways. I look forward to seeing Darren, Garver, Ami, Nunez, Yoji, Miami Ink, L.A. Ink, London Ink, and more Reality Ink in the New Year. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE.

I am a huge fan of Miami Ink, I think all three have there own personality. I think Miami Ink is more realistic, they show more their own personality. May the best man win.
