The second episode of the second season of L.A. Ink aired this week, with a couple cliffhangers from the first episode. Kat and Pixie are on the outs due to her taking a week off while Kat was on tour with our boy Orbi. So, what does any good business owner do? Call the life coach right! And of course, as predicted, Hannah returns, man we really though she might not come back! But, first off, on to the ink.

First up is Brandon, a narcissistic hairdresser who wants his logo of his hair product line on his neck. And he does not want it to look “like pansy”. But watch out, here comes his mom! In the end, Mom relents, and actually leaves unannounced, and the B man gets his logo. Great idea dumbass! “B” the product bro.

Shelley is a make-up artist and gives Hannah her first piece in the new season. And what a perfect set up for the spike with some colorful flowers! Hannah’s specialty. Two magnolias on the shoulder blade end up great, not surprisingly. Great idea and piece.

An artist named Derek Hess comes in to get a piece from Kim. It is a piece of artwork his Dad did and Kim knows him from her days in Cleveland. Two very unique looking tanks go on his back and in the process, he gets to autograph a piece for another dude getting a Derek Hess piece himself from Hannah at the same time.flood-damage1.jpg

The other dude, Justin, as mentioned gets a very cool piece on his ribs, which is pictured to the right here, called “Flood Damage” thats gotta hurt like crazy by the way. Hes gets the same thing, minus the crows and it comes out great and the placement is actually perfect. The autographed part I could do without, but overall I really like how it turned out.

Sara comes in to get a black and grey piece of her grandma, which is pretty interesting in that Grams is aiming a gun in the photo. This one seems like a perfect set up for Kat, but Corey pulls it off and shows his versatility. Way to go Corey!

Jason comes in next to get the first piece from Kat on this episode. It is a memorial piece for his grandman and has some great script along with it as well. Kat can do portraits in her sleep at this point, but he script is what really makes this one turn out special.

In the end, Kat sits Kim down and gives her some “tough love”, which is incredibly humorous actually. No firings go down, but Kat says she is pissed and to “take this as a warning”. A warning for what? Not to go to Mexico for a week again? Bah, the immaturity of these people makes me crazy.
