Kat To Sue Ami and Garver?

Posted by admin

February 26, 2008 |

This is not getting any better for Kat Von D. In the wake of the anti-semitic controversy that we have already told you about, she recently did yet another quick interview and as asked about the photo. Her response in the video below mentions the possibility of this being a “federal offense, forgery.”

Planning a defamation suit Kat? It sure would make folks a bit more likely to believe your story if you did, and we may even find out the truth. The sad part is, this thing is far from over.

It sounds like you are actually ENCOURAGING her to sue! That is NOT good for her or any other person involved in this matter…I think they need to just LET IT GO. Enough damage and hate has been put out there, just move on already!
(My anti-spam word on this post was “chill”, and I think that’s what you need to do, dude!)

Cmon man, I’m not encouraging anything, but someone is obviously lying here. And Kat sound like she is totally looking into the legal angle on this (or at least acting like she is). Like I said, the sad thing is that this is not over….

Quote- “Planning a defamation suit, Kat? It sure would make folks a bit more likely to believe your story if you did.”
If that isn’t pro for her to sue, I don’t know what is…
And I DO believe that she did it. Garver is one VERY upstanding guy, he would never lie about something this serious or defamatory to her, or to anyone else.
And I do, indeed think that she is ACTING all innocent and shocked. The key word there is ACTING.
Just my opinion, but please watch the way you word things. It could start a chain of events nobody wants…

I dont think this site is going to start a chain of event for anything. But I am actually of the same opinion as you, and in no way am I a Kat apologist. I side with Garver as well, which is why i KNOW Kat would not take things the legal route. But, she acts as if she will, thus my quote above. I know you are following, you seem like a smart guy….

My apologies if I sounded rude, but I took your posting to mean that you WERE siding with Kat. (You actually used the words that “I believe her” on one of your posts.)
As to starting something, I didn’t mean you alone could do that. But I’m sure she has supporters and assistants surfing for what is put out there, hence the damage control statements that she has been blogging and interviewing lately. And on that, I will no longer bug you anymore! ;)
    P.S. I’m not a smart GUY…:P

RJ, no harm done. I enjoy a good discussion, sorry to assume you were a guy, ah the joys of the internet…

I did say “It sure would make folks a bit more likely to believe your story if you did”, in reference to the possible legal action.

I meant that this would actually mean loads more than her damage control on myspace, as you correctly pointed out…

    Come back and comment anytime…

Kat isn’t suing anyone. The more that’s revealed about her, the less attractive she is to television viewers. A lawsuit will bring about all of her dirt, and her ex-husband will probably be subpoenaed (he’s probably more bitter than Steve-O ;)). Kat wrote the note. I agree with Steve-O, no one is going to believe Garver lied, considering how close the two of them were. Karma’s a b*tch, Kat’s learning this the hard way.
By the way, how dumb do you have to be to leave that piece of evidence around, while in the midst of signing a television deal? Just asking.

Actually, Nicola, Kat didn’t “leave that piece of evidence lying around” - she handed it right to Chris Garver! Of all the guys at Miami Ink, she picked the most upstanding and respected of them all - not exactly the smartest move… but, then again, she never came off as very bright. I truly think she didn’t consider the repercussions of this act. She hated Ami - and wanted him to know it in one of the most vile and deeply personal ways one can go about it.

The funny thing is, in all of her denials, I’ve only seen one statement where she actually mentions Garver’s name. I think she was very hesistant to call him out as a liar (because she knows how ridiculous it sounds).

And why on earth would anyone believe TLC’s “investigation” into the matter?! What’re they gonna do, turn on the star of one of their hit shows? Of course not! They’d want this buried, of course. Clear Kat von D’s name via some bogus internal investigation, mention something vague about further pursuing the real culprit, and pray the controversy goes away. So they can keep on making money off of all of their tattoo kids, feuding or not. The real test would be who they would choose to turn on if they were backed into a corner: von D or Garver? I guess that would depend on whether LA Ink or Miami Ink has better ratings.

Okay, now I feel slightly dumb. I read somewhere else that a handwriting analyst TLC consulted determined there was a 99% probability it was Kat von D’s writing…is that true? If it is, I take back my comment about their “bogus internal investigation.” The insinuation that the network (as well as any network) is selfish, immoral, and money-grubbing still stands.

There. I feel better now. :)

and the fact that she’s now fucking Nikki Sixx, a WELL KNOWN BONAFIDE RACIST isn’t going to help her. MWAMAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!

Everyone remembers her new main squeeze calling that security guard the N word numerous times on the microphone for ALL to hear.

God, in the middle of her being called a racist, she dates a known racist. Why do these people dig their own graves?

have you guys seen that tattoo coffee table book “permanence” that just came out? there’s a little kat segment in it that includes a handwritten little note explaining a tat garver did on her…the material for the book was obviously gathered a year or more ago…anyway…point being…the handwriting looked exactly the same as that on the hate letter. to a tee. this bitch is such a slimey liar.

i really think that it is sad for ANYONE to think that a good friend of yours would do that to you… I mean Garver didn’t want her to get fired at all and was really “annoyed” coz Ami did it. if they are friends, as they always said that they were, why would a friend do this to you? and it is kinda far fetched to say that any person, just for revenge, would write those things down about themselves and pin it on some1else… i really don’t think that Ami, being the serious guy that he is, would do it just for kicks… and it is kinda lame for buisness as well, coz many people that watch the show like kat and didnt like Ami “sacking” her, so that wouldn’t be like a good motive nor anything, quite on the contrary in fact..
If Kat thinks that that was what happened (or wants to sell that kind of idea)she’s really an odd person…to think that about an old friend… and if she’s only trying to pin this on garver to get out of it, she’s really dispicable…
i was really disappointed to see all of this…i never thought that Kat was that kind of person…its sad really…since miami ink Kat has been really weird…like what i see on the net, her getting divorced and going out with this many people…none of our business, yes, but i think that she’s only “Kat Von D the celebrity” due to the show, so she could have gone out as the good cool girl that Ami “stupidly” sacked, but now she’s “Kat Von D the bitch” or “Kat Von D the anti-semitic a****le”…Congrats KAt!
