TMZ breaks the news with this video of Kat dishing some Miami Ink dirt. Bitter much Kat?
You gotta love how she just hesitates and then says that Miami Ink is cancelled. Oh Katharine, just get over it will you?
The best part of this whole thing though, is that TMZ calls up TLC and asks about Miami Ink. Love this quote….
Oh, really? That’ll be news to them: TMZ talked to TLC, and a rep says that the new season is slated to air in late spring/early summer, though they wouldn’t confirm or deny if that’ll be the end of the needle.

And yet MORE trash coming from her mouth…
) and they all have built up long waiting lists to keep them tattooing for years. They don’t neccessarily need the exposure that goes with the show, or the disruption it can cause in their lives . That may be the real story here, not “cancellation” per se.
What I have to wonder is WHERE are her pub’s and agents? Why isn’t SOMEONE telling her to just shut up and let things die down? She is truly digging herself a hole she will never get out of. And the sad thing is that no one seems to want to stop her…
One thing I do wonder though…maybe the show
(Miami Ink )is coming up on its last season. Maybe the guys have decided to move on. After all, they now have several businesses to run, have settled personal lives (except for Nunez…
I agree RJ, Kat is soooo damn immature and obviously her handlers are doing a poor job. It could be the last Miami season possibly, but it would be just like Kat to call it a cancellation….
Just an update:
There will be 2 newbies on the new epi’s…a female shop manager (her name is Baby Dre) and tattooer Tim Hendricks. The show will return on April 24, a Thursday, at 10 PM (LA Ink’s current timeslot)- not in June as previously reported.(I got this info from Dre’s Myspace page.)
According to the TLC schedule pages, reruns of the last 2 epi’s run on April 10 and 17.
Wow, Tim Hendricks is an amazing artist! Thats great news indeed!
i love tim but it will ruin it for the rest of us who are serious about getting tattooed by him. now all the 18 yr old. rich kids will be first in line because he is now on tv. i’ve been trying to get tattooed by him for 2 years. now his rates will go up and etc and i can give up on that dream. just like a waited a 1 yr for kore flatmo and then kat talked about him a million times and he went up to 500 /hr and i had to cancel ( he was 200 before). i wish LA ink would get the boot before tattooing becomes just as lame as the soccer moms who are getting them now.
Kore Flatmo is a very fine artist. So is Tim Hendricks. Notariety brings more clients. As far as their prices…it simple. Supply and demand.
I know Tim personally, He has just been tattooing friends and family and finishing old pieces for the last year and a half, and I’m sure he doesn’t plan on changing anything. He doesn’t make appointments, and when he’s traveling he just does a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, IF you can catch him in between surf sessions with ME.
[…] calling it quits. There is some great insight as to why the series is coming to a close, some of which was speculated about here as well. I will post some quotes and comment on them below…. Ami James said Monday he and co-star […]
