Another episode of L.A. Ink aired this week, this one focusing in on Pixie and her tattoo removal process. You see, she has a hideous piece of ink on her arm, something that looks like a goblin girl and her goblin baby, not really sure what it is exactly. At any rate, I was sorta under impressed with the ink on this episode as a whole. Some video of Pixie and her Dr. Tattoff experience are below.
- Kat’s skater friend Freedom gets a peregrine falcon on his arm to help him symbolize his newfound sobriety. Kat cannot help but talk over him most of the time about her own sobriety, which she claims is “just for now, to focus on my work, ya know?”
- Kim does a very detailed piece for a woman that wants to highlight her girlie side. The back piece featured a diamond ring, a ballerina dancer, lipstick, and other girlie trinkets. It also is very pink, which Kim loves. As a dude, I have a hard time appreciating this, but I’m certain it is totally what she wanted.
- Hannah does a suicide prevention logo for a girl that lost her brother to suicide, it is hard to criticize her motives of course, but that life preserver is sorta boring and almost ugly. Of course Hannah makes it about as nice looking as is possible. This one was obviously featured because of the emotional backstory.
